The property was very clean and very well cared for. All paint, finishes, etc. were extremely well maintained. Bed was comfortable and bed linens were fine. We loved the gas fire pit in the courtyard and the Adirondack chairs.

Excellent location with great parking and easy access to rooms. Clean room and comfortable beds. Nicely appointed bathroom. Friendly staff who provided excellent service. Will definitely stay again.

Location perfect for walking all over Solvang. Room has fridge which is great for own picnic supplies. Quiet at night. Outside searing comfy.

At end of town, main street so very convenient to shops, restaurants. Learned about Viking Inn on tv program Motel Rescue. Nicely updated. Great fireplace and seating in center, off main street. Breakfast voucher for coffee or alternative and Danish at Olsens just across the street. Bikes available to use. Very nice.

The staff was phenomenal from before we even checked in to after we checked out. I had made a request for my room to have wine and though they didnt have any on the property they gave me options to order it to them. They had it ready at the room with glasses and an opener for us. The attention to detail was amazing

Location, ease of access was great. Room was nice, clean. We didn’t use the amenities since it was just an over-nighter but it’s nice that there was the option.

This was a great little place to stay at in Solvang. At walking distance of every little corner of Solvang, which was very much appreciated. The hotel was nice and well maintained. Our room had 2 Queen beds, a table with chairs, complimentary waters, tea and coffee, a TV, as well as an ironing board and a small fridge. We loved the hardwood floors throughout the room. The fact that the hotel is pet friendly is a huge plus, and having free parking in front of the hotel was another big plus. The outside had some tables and firepits for people to hangout. We definitely recommend this hotel to couples, friends or even families. And we would stay here again if we had to come back to Solvang.

Very centrally located and in a really fun area if you like strolling around on a nice day and do some beer/wine tasting. The room looked newly renovated. The floors were clean, the bed was comfy and the blanket was really nice and soft The entry is by pin number and never had to make contact with anyone

What a great stay! The Viking inn exceeded our expectations. It’s at the top of the town of Solvang but a quick walk to all the restaurants and shops we wanted to visit. The rooms were extremely cute and thoughtful in their amenities. We appreciated the welcome note with recommendations and information, as well as the contactless check in. We will definitely be staying here for our next visit :-)
